Governance & Structure

The Council is composed of a Chairman, Deputy Chairman, and four executive branch members:

• Education Executive
• Sport & Healthcare Executive
• Social-life Executive
• Marketing Executive

These roles collectively ensure that students' diverse needs—academic, social, cultural, and residential—are addressed through events, resource allocation, and direct communication with administration

Key Responsibilities & Initiatives

The Student Council leads and contributes to the following:

• Organising Clubs Fair, talent shows, film nights, quizzes, guest lectures, and other social activities.
• Managing student-run clubs and societies ranging across cultural, academic, and sports domains.
• Advocating for students on academic and administrative matters during biannual Student–Staff Liaison Committee meetings. These forums address programme content, teaching quality, facilities, and welfare issues.
• Collaborating with Student Services and Youth Support Unit to support initiatives around hostels, international student services, and social welfare programs.
