Student Clubs

MDIS Tashkent is full of excitement where students strive to create a fun learning environment that encourages communication and interaction among the students.

Student-run groups have been established by the Student Council  of MDIS Tashkent with the aim of assisting students in contributing and discovering their talents through relevant avenues. Clubs and societies offer students a wide variety of events and activities that takes learning beyond the classrooms and provides a unique experience. Clubs gather twice a week throughout the Academic Year.

MDIS Tashkent offers a dynamic and diverse student club environment that brings together communities focused on academic growth, creativity, leadership, innovation, and social engagement. With more than 30 student-led clubs and organisations, the university provides students with opportunities to explore their interests, develop practical skills, and actively contribute to campus life beyond the classroom.

Academic and professionally oriented communities include AI Club, IT Club, Research Club, Academic Writing Club, Math Club, GDG on Campus, Tourism Innovation Club, TED Talks Club, and History Club, supporting intellectual development, innovation, and career-focused learning. Creative and media-related communities such as Art Club, Drama Club, MDIST Media, MDISTV, MDIST Podcast, Piano Club, Creative Hands Club, ShowBiz Club, Voice of MDIST, Dance Club, and Cover Club provide students with platforms for artistic expression, collaboration, content creation, and performance.

Students interested in analytical thinking, strategic activities, and discussion-based engagement can participate in Zakovat Club, Chess Club, Board Games Club, Readers Club, Rubik’s Cube Club, and Siyosatchilar Kengashi. Social and community-focused initiatives, including Charity Club, Eco Club, Women’s Club, PsychoSphere Club, Scientist Girls, and MDIST 24 Club, encourage active involvement in social responsibility, wellbeing, leadership, and community development.

Entertainment and cultural communities such as Movie Club, Anime Club, Marvel Club, and Formula 1 Club further contribute to a vibrant and inclusive student experience, helping students build friendships, teamwork, and intercultural communication within the university environment.

In addition to student-led organisations, the MDIST Sports Center provides access to a wide range of sports and physical activities, including football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, swimming, gym training, running, esports, and karting. These activities support both recreational participation and competitive athletic development while promoting student wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.

Participation in student clubs and extracurricular activities allows students to strengthen leadership, communication, teamwork, project management, and organisational skills within a practical and collaborative environment, contributing to both personal and professional growth.
